Usage
The EWF1-SXH series of individual water softeners are equipped with a separate salt dissolving tank and are suitable for softening hot water up to a maximum temperature of 82°C.
The amount of softened water withdrawn is measured fully automatically and transmitted to the microprocessor control unit, where the remaining capacity and operating status of the system are displayed. Once the set capacity has been exhausted, the control unit triggers regeneration.
A reliable 5-stage central control valve, low-voltage transformer, time-controlled brine refill, safety brine valve, and screen bottom for dry storage of the salt supply, along with regular maintenance, guarantee many years of trouble-free operation of the system. The systems are supplied with a waste water hose set.
Functionality
The amount of softened water extracted is recorded by a turbine meter and transmitted to the control system. Once the capacity of the filter tank in operation has been exhausted, the control system automatically initiates regeneration of the exhausted filter tank. The control valve regulates both the water flow through the tank during operation and the regeneration phases:
- Backwashing
- Salting/Slow washing
- Washing out
- Refill salt dissolving container
During regeneration, hard water is supplied to consumers.
