Usage
The EWF1-SXN series of individual water softeners are equipped with a separate salt dissolving tank and are suitable for softening drinking water.
The amount of soft water withdrawn is measured fully automatically and transmitted to the microprocessor control unit, where the remaining capacity and operating status of the system are displayed. Once the set capacity has been exhausted, the control unit triggers regeneration.
A reliable 5-stage central control valve, low-voltage transformer, time-controlled brine refill, safety brine valve, and sieve bottom for dry storage of the salt supply, as well as regular maintenance, guarantee many years of trouble-free operation of the system. The systems are supplied with a waste water hose set.
Functionality
The amount of softened water extracted is recorded by a turbine meter and transmitted to the control system. Once the capacity of the filter tank in operation has been exhausted, the control system automatically initiates regeneration of the exhausted filter tank. The control valve regulates both the water flow through the tank during operation and the regeneration phases:
- Backwashing
- Salting/Slow washing
- Washing out
- Refill salt dissolving container
During regeneration, hard water is supplied to consumers.
